This is a poem I wrote for one of my neighbors who hurt his back.

Dear John,

 Now and then our lines get tangled. 

Don’t worry just cast your line,

life has a way of reminding us not to

waste any of our precious time.

Each lure promises a reward

some fruitful, some we abhor. 

Your navigation gone astray,

an unpredictable and rough wake tackles you today.

We can never know what storms come our way,

we can only live each moment in the light of a day. 

We pray that you drop anchor in a peaceful harbor

and that you find the strength as a true angler is know to do;

                                                                                             to go fishing!                                                          

This is a poem I wrote for one of my friends when her dear father passed away.

Tall and proud he stood.

 Here's a poem I wrote for my students Water Colored Memories.  

  No longer looking for some one or some thing.

Where color and structure find form.

For a moment they are unhindered,

suspended in a pure state of awe that relieves their anxieties and uncertainties.

 It is their world, their time.

A new purpose to hold and see,

a watercolor painting to set them free.

Where they can relish in their own creativity!
